“Unlike Erik I enjoy
sailing more as a great way of getting to and seeing new places
than for the act in itself. For me this means that there is
one thing even better than having my own ship. It is having
a brother with one. My trips with Erik and Siobhan couldn’t
have been more different: A leisurely cruise through the Suez
Canal ending in almost 4 days of heavy winds and huge waves
on the way to Cyprus, blue sky and perfect winds around Gran
Canaria and Tenerife, and hardly any wind and a fog so heavy
I’m not sure who else was on the trip around Newfoundland.”
